2.8 Control box (optional, only for 8 kVA <strong>and</strong> 13 kVA generators)<br />
2.8.1 General<br />
The control box mounted on the generator is only available for generators with<br />
rated power outputs of 8 kVA <strong>and</strong> 13 kVA. In the st<strong>and</strong>ard version it contains the<br />
generator governor, a suppression filter, the sockets for connecting the loads as<br />
well as an all-pole circuit breaker for protecting the installed sockets against<br />
overcurrent <strong>and</strong> short-circuit. As additional options an hour meter <strong>and</strong> an<br />
insulation monitoring with switching-off can be installed.<br />
The generator governor in the control box can also be replaced by an optional<br />
exp<strong>and</strong>ed generator governor with no-load automatic function. Further<br />
information about this can be found in section 2.4 on page 17.<br />
