Chapter 8, Removal<br />

8. Detach the special hexagon nut (Figure 33/1) from the generator shaft.<br />

9. Remount the carbon brushes holder (Figure 33/4) according to the<br />

descriptions on page 90 (section 6.4.1) into the generator <strong>and</strong> reconnect the<br />

connection cables.<br />

10. Insert the special wooden chock serving as transport locking for the rotor.<br />

11. Remount the sleeve (Figure 33/6) <strong>and</strong> fasten it by tightening the two<br />

screws (5).<br />

12. Remount the fan impeller (Figure 33/2) <strong>and</strong> secure it on the generator shaft<br />

by means of the feathered key (against twisting) <strong>and</strong> the sawing ring.<br />

13. Remount the fan impeller shroud (Figure 33/4).<br />
