When installing brushless single-bearing generators<br />

The following descriptions assume that you have already performed the removal<br />

prior to installation according to section 4.5.4.3 on page 42.<br />

The steps listed here replace the steps 1. to 8. on page 43.<br />

1. Apply the sealing to the removed front end shield of the generator as<br />

described in section 4.5.4.1 on page 37 (see also Figure 14).<br />

2. Set the removed front end shield with the sealing applied onto the engine<br />

flange <strong>and</strong> fasten it using the four screws (Figure 14/2).<br />

3. As shown in Figure 14, align the generator in front of the engine in a way,<br />

that the generator shaft lies in one line with the engine shaft. If necessary,<br />

support the generator accordingly.<br />
