Synchronous Generators BG 132 / BG 160
Chapter 5, Operation
If the generator shall be connected to an existing power
distribution network (e.g. a house wiring), it has to be
ensured, that the system is completely and reliably
disconnected from the public electricity supply network of the
DANGER
energy supply company. Reverse feeding into the public
electricity supply network or network interconnection is not
allowed. Reverse feeding involves mortal danger by electric
shock for persons possibly working at the de-energized public
electricity supply network. Due to network interconnection
with the public electricity supply network, the generator can be
damaged, burn or cause fire in electrical cables of the system.
Be sure to completely read and understand these operating
instructions before using the generator. The generator may only
be used for applications described in section "Proper use" and
in conformity with the specifications given in this manual.
Before connecting devices to the generator, ensure that the
devices are switched off. Accident hazard! Unsupervised
starting devices can endanger or injure persons as well as cause
damages or damage themselves.
Infants and animals must have no admittance to the generator,
not just during but also after operation. Make appropriate
precautions. Mortal danger by electric shock, injury and
burning hazard!
The generator or its components must never be
exposed to the jet of high-pressure cleaners.

CAUTION
Be sure to observe the operating conditions given in section 5.2.
The generator may only be operated in conformity with the
operating conditions and data specified there. This especially
applies to the ambient and cooling conditions and the permissible
current load.
