4.4.2 Permissible mounting positions for two-bearing generators<br />

(<strong>BG</strong> <strong>132</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>BG</strong> <strong>160</strong>)<br />

The generator has to be mounted on a horizontal flat<br />

base st<strong>and</strong>ing on its angle brackets, as shown in<br />

the accompanying figure.<br />

When mounted in normal position, the terminal box<br />

is positioned on the top of the generator (or the<br />

cable lead-out or the control box, depending on the<br />

version).<br />

It is also possible to install the generator turned by<br />

45° or 90° to the left or to the right, as shown in the<br />

accompanying figure. For this purpose, the angle<br />

brackets have to be removed <strong>and</strong> mounted again to<br />

the corresponding mounting profiles.<br />
