Chapter 4: 4.6 Installation of two-bearing generators (<strong>BG</strong> <strong>132</strong>)<br />

Installation<br />

1. Set the flange (Figure 17/1) onto the generator <strong>and</strong> fasten it using the four<br />

screws (4a) with nuts (3a). Underlay the screw head with a blocking disk<br />

(4b) <strong>and</strong> apply threadlocking adhesive to the thread of the screw. Underlay<br />

the nuts with toothed disks (3b).<br />

2. Remount the sleeve (Figure 17/2) <strong>and</strong> fasten it by tightening the two screws.<br />

3. Plug the clutch-plate (5) onto the generator shaft <strong>and</strong> protect it against<br />

twisting on the shaft by means of a feathered key.<br />

4. Fasten the driving side of the clutch (6) to the engine <strong>and</strong> insert it into the<br />

clutch-plate. When inserting, twist the clutch a little bit until the gearing<br />

locks, if necessary.<br />

5. Fasten the flange (1) to the engine.<br />
