Chapter 4: 4.8 Electrical connection of the generators<br />

4.8.2 Version with terminal box<br />

Observe the following connection notes when connecting generators equipped<br />

with a terminal box:<br />

• When opening the terminal box, be careful not to tear-off or damage the<br />

connecting wires of the generator governor installed in the cover.<br />

• After opening the terminal box, remove the plug-<strong>and</strong>-socket connector to the<br />

generator governor installed in the terminal box cover. The plug-<strong>and</strong>-socket<br />

connector is mechanically coded <strong>and</strong> thus can not be plugged-in twisted.<br />

Plug-in the connector only immediately before closing the cover.<br />

• For leading cables into the terminal box only use appropriate waterproof<br />

IP54 cable gl<strong>and</strong>s.<br />

• Lay the connecting wires inside the terminal box with utmost care.<br />

• When closing the cover, be careful not to catch or squeeze any connecting<br />

wires.<br />
