The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Early Childhood Education<br />
and Administration degree is designed to meet the needs of persons<br />
interested in pursuing careers in early childhood education or<br />
currently employed in preschools, child care centers, extended day<br />
programs, agencies, or other early-childhood care facilities. Students<br />
specializing in this area develop the abilities to administer all facets of<br />
an early childhood program, along with the knowledge of child<br />
development and early childhood education. Personal characteristics<br />
for entering this field are love of children, patience, creativity, and<br />
interest in techniques for enhancing interpersonal relationships with<br />
children and adults. A Certificate of Completion (CCL) is also<br />
available.<br />
