15 Credits<br />
The Certificates of Completion in Fashion Design provide students<br />
with skills at two distinct levels. Level II includes skills necessary to<br />
illustrate fashions, design patterns, and construct apparel. Emphasis<br />
is placed on the development of pattern-making skills and grading<br />
patterns to change sizes. Completers of this certificate will enter the<br />
fashion industry at higher level positions and salary than those who<br />
complete the Level I certificate.<br />

The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Fashion Illustration includes an<br />
advanced study of proportion and techniques used in drawing fashion<br />
figures and flats. A variety of media is used to illustrate various<br />
fabrics, textures, and patterns. A professional fashion illustration<br />
portfolio is completed.<br />
