Costuming<br />
Certificate of Completion — CCL 5623<br />
30 Credits<br />
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Costuming is designed for<br />
students with interest in designing and constructing stage, vintage,<br />
dance, and period reproduction costumes. Students will study history<br />
of fashion, fashion illustration, apparel and costume construction, and<br />
pattern making. In addition, they will complete a costume design<br />
internship.<br />

The Fashion Design Associate in Applied Science (AAS) program is<br />
designed to prepare students for employment in the fashion industry.<br />
Students will develop skills in fashion illustration, apparel design,<br />
clothing construction, and pattern making. Graduates of the program<br />
will be able to illustrate and design apparel, draft patterns, and<br />
custom design apparel for individual clients. They can work in the<br />
fashion industry for apparel manufacturers and retailers. A Certificate<br />
of Completion (CCL) is also available.<br />

Fashion Design, Level I<br />
Certificate of Completion — CCL 5355<br />
21 Credits<br />
The Certificates of Completion (CCL) in Fashion Design provide<br />
students with skills at two distinct levels. Level I includes emphasis<br />
on historical fashions, illustration, sketching a line, and selecting<br />
appropriate textiles for individual clients. Completers of this certificate<br />
will enter the fashion industry at entry-level positions. An Associate<br />
in Applied Science (AAS) degree is also available.
