The Bachelor of Arts degree requires completion<br />

of the B.A. language requirements described<br />

on p. 77 of this catalog.<br />

B.S. Requirements 6-8<br />

Candidates for the Bachelor of Science<br />

degree in philosophy and religious studies can<br />

choose to take six to eight hours beyond the<br />

Core Curriculum requirements in courses from<br />

the following departments: Mathematics and<br />

Statistics, Information Technology, Biology,<br />

Chemistry, Physics, Geology, and Anthropological<br />

Science. Or, they can elect to take six<br />

to eight hours of 300-400 level courses in one<br />

of the following disciplines: For the Philosophy<br />

Concentration: Art, English, History or<br />

Political Science. For the Religious Studies<br />

Concentration: English, History, Political Science,<br />

Psychology or Sociology.<br />

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS<br />

To graduate with a major or minor in Philosophy<br />

and Religious Studies, a student must<br />

have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher in<br />

all courses taken with a PHIL or RELN prefix.<br />
