Open to all majors. Offered Spring or Fall. A<br />
program is also offered in the Summer with<br />
slightly different criteria - see the RU Summer<br />
Program for additional information. A directed<br />
program of travel study designed to augment a<br />
student’s knowledge of the language and culture<br />
of Mexico and Latin America. Grade values are<br />
assigned as pass/fail and the awarding of specific<br />
course credit is determined at the conclusion<br />
of the experience and when official transcripts<br />
are received by the Registrar’s Office. Maximum<br />
of 18 credit hours.<br />

in China and Taiwan. (12-18)<br />
Prerequisites: Consult Director of International<br />
Education.<br />
Open to all majors. This is an exchange program<br />
that allows RU students to study at the National<br />
Taiwan Normal <strong>University</strong> in China or Shanghai<br />
Normal <strong>University</strong> in China while paying RU<br />
tuition. Hours earned are treated as if completed<br />
at RU for both program completion purposes<br />
and financial aid. Students must complete an RU<br />
Study Abroad Registration and Course Approval<br />
form outlining courses to be taken and approved<br />
before leaving to study abroad. Grade values are<br />
assigned as pass/fail and the awarding of specific<br />
course credit is determined at the conclusion of<br />
the experience and when official transcripts are<br />

through selected universities. Affiliate programs<br />
allow students to maintain RU student status<br />
while abroad, thus allowing them continued<br />
access to financial aid and future registration<br />
at RU. Students must complete an RU Study<br />
Abroad Registration and course Approval Form<br />
outlining courses to be taken and approved before<br />
leaving to study abroad. Grade values are<br />
pass/fail, and the awarding of specific course<br />

with Salzburg College in Austria that provides<br />
students with the opportunity to study courses<br />
in the liberal arts, business and education. Instruction<br />
is in English. Affiliate programs allow<br />
students to maintain RU student status while<br />
abroad, thus allowing them continued access<br />
