The date is before 1853 when an iron extension to the bridge was<br />

*** The photographer Ludovico Tuminello returned to Rome<br />
from political exile in Turin in 1869 and acquired and published<br />
Caneva’s negatives after the latter’s death in 1865. Caneva’s prints<br />
of the first two listed are illustrated in Becchetti, Caneva, pp 66 and<br />
84, the first a variant without the cart
