*** Bruno’s classic on the art of memory. His feats of memory, using
mostly mnemonic skills, were viewed as magical. He attracted the
attention of Henri III, to whom the present work is dedicated and
by whom he was appointed one of the lecteurs royaux and Cantus
to Henri d’Angoulême.
