Track in Bioinformatics Practice<br />

The new bioinformatics practice track is designed for graduate<br />

students with interest in molecular biology and information<br />

technology. The track covers a broad range <strong>of</strong> subjects (e.g.,<br />

molecular biology, biostatistics, algorithms, bioinformatics,<br />

and visualization) at the interface between these two fields.<br />

Course Sequencing<br />

Students should take BIOT 640 first and all other courses in<br />

ascending numerical order. Students who cannot take courses in<br />

the required sequence should contact the program director for<br />

approval <strong>of</strong> an alternate course plan.<br />
