Master <strong>of</strong> Science in Technology Management/Master <strong>of</strong><br />
Business Administration<br />
This dual degree program provides the student with both the intellectual depth <strong>of</strong><br />
managing technological change associated with the Master <strong>of</strong> Science (MS) in technology<br />
management and the intellectual breadth <strong>of</strong> general business knowledge associated<br />
with the Master <strong>of</strong> Business Administration (MBA). The dual degree program requires<br />
60 semester hours <strong>of</strong> coursework, at the completion <strong>of</strong> which both degrees are awarded.<br />
Program Requirements<br />
Students who are interested in pursuing dual degrees must meet the admission requirements<br />
<strong>of</strong> each program. Information on the MS in technology management may be<br />
found on p. 72; the MBA is described on p. 39.<br />
Formats/Locations<br />
Classes in the MS in technology management program are <strong>of</strong>fered online and at<br />
<strong>College</strong> Park, Fort Meade, and the Annapolis and Shady Grove Centers. MBA classes<br />
for students in dual degree programs are <strong>of</strong>fered online only. Students should check<br />
the current Graduate Schedule <strong>of</strong> Classes to determine when courses will be <strong>of</strong>fered at<br />
specific locations.<br />
Students with at least five years <strong>of</strong> managerial experience may also elect to pursue<br />
these two degrees through an accelerated executive format. Information may be<br />
found on p. 96.<br />
Curriculum Requirements<br />
Students in the dual MS in technology management/MBA program must first complete<br />
the MS in technology management. Please note that the requirements for the<br />
MS in technology management are somewhat different when earned as part <strong>of</strong> the<br />
dual degree program.<br />
For the MS in technology management, students in the dual degree program must<br />
