18.74 I can use the Tru-Squat without back or knee problems, and I can descend<br />

to the parallel position. My lower back is not put at risk at this depth,<br />

though it is in the barbell squat.<br />

Performance tips for the Tru-Squat<br />

18.76 a. Prior to use the Tru-Squat needs to be adjusted according to the height<br />

of the user. e heights accommodated range from 5'0" to 7'0". But the<br />

height settings can only be approximate. For example, if you have legs a<br />

little longer than the norm for your height, try the height setting immediately<br />

under your actual height. is will slightly alter the pathway<br />

your torso moves through, and reduce the forward travel of your knees.<br />

is may put you in a better position than you would be if at the setting<br />

that directly matches your height. Experimentation is needed to<br />
