Representatives and the Honorable President and Members of the<br />
Senate.<br />
Ladies and Gentlemen:<br />
We, the conferees appointed to confer over the disagreement<br />
between the two houses concerning House Bill No. 1178 by<br />
Representative Pinac, recommend the following concerning the<br />
reengrossed bill:<br />
1. That Senate Committee Amendments Nos. 1 and 2 proposed by<br />
the Senate Committee on Local and Municipal and Municipal<br />
Affairs and adopted by the Senate on May 24, 2004, be<br />
rejected.<br />
2. T hat Senate Floor Amendment No. 5 proposed by Senator<br />
Hollis and adopted by the Senate on June 4, 2004, be adopted.<br />
3. That Senate Floor Amendments Nos. 1 through 4 and No. 6<br />
proposed by Senator Hollis and adopted by the Senate on June<br />
4, 2004, be rejected.<br />
4. That the following amendments to the reengrossed bill be<br />
adopted:<br />
