adopted. Senator Bajoie moved to reconsider the vote by which the<br />

To the Honorable Speaker and Members of the House of<br />
Representatives and the Honorable President and Members of the<br />
Senate.<br />
Ladies and Gentlemen:<br />
50th DAY'S PROCEEDINGS<br />
We, the conferees appointed to confer over the disagreement<br />
between the two houses concerning House Bill No. 1551 by<br />
Representatives Heaton, Dartez, Dorsey, Farrar, Richmond, and<br />
Smiley, recommend the following concerning the engrossed bill:<br />
1. That Senate Committee Committee Amendments Nos. 1<br />
through 6 and 8 proposed by the Senate Committee on<br />
Judiciary A and adopted by the Senate on June 15, 2004, be<br />
adopted.<br />
2. That Senate Committee Committee Amendment No. 7<br />
proposed by the Senate Committee on Judiciary A and<br />
adopted by the Senate on June 15, 2004, be rejected.<br />
3. That the following amendment to the reengroosed bill be<br />
adopted:<br />
AMENDMENT NO. 1<br />
In Senate Committee Amendment No. 8 proposed by the Senate<br />
Committee on Judiciary A and adopted by the Senate on June 15,<br />
2004, at the end of line 22, after "law." insert "The exceptions<br />
provided for in R.S. 46:2140 shall apply."<br />
