adopt, enforce, and post hazing policies; to provide for the<br />

required content of such policies; and to provide for related<br />

the filing of a petition and to provide for the contents of that<br />

petition; to provide with respect to the burden of proof and the<br />

introduction of evidence; to provide for the submission of<br />

certain records, data, reports, and other information; to provide<br />

for a waiver of confidentiality and privilege with respect to<br />

information submitted; to provide for an independent<br />

psychological or psychiatric examination; to provide for the<br />

dismissal of the petition in certain circumstances; to provide<br />

with respect to treatment of a defendant found to be<br />

incompetent to proceed to execution; and to provide for related<br />

matters.<br />

qualified teachers; to provide for a program designed to provide<br />

incentives for qualified teachers to locate and work in<br />

disadvantaged areas; to authorize the development and<br />

establishment of a teachers’ homebuyer program for certain<br />

certified teachers; to establish an advisory panel to develop such<br />

program; to provide for program approval; to authorize the state<br />

treasurer to administer the program; and to provide for related<br />

matters.<br />

AN ACT<br />

To enact Part V-A of Chapter 1 of Title 49 of the <strong>Louisiana</strong> Revised<br />

Statutes of 1950, to be comprised of R.S. 49:115, relative to the<br />

settlement of claims by the state; to provide for notification to<br />

the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget of certain claims<br />

in which the state has an interest; and to provide for related<br />

matters.<br />
