Senate Bill No. 561 by Senator Fontenot
June 21, 2004
To the Honorable President and Members of the Senate and to
the Honorable Speaker and Members of the House of
Representatives:
We, the conferees appointed to confer over the disagreement
between the two houses concerning Senate Bill No. 561 by Senator
Fontenot recommend the following concerning the Re-reengrossed
bill:
1. That all House Committee Amendments proposed by the
House Committee on House and Governmental Affairs and
adopted by the House of Representatives on June 3, 2004 be
adopted.
2. That all House Committee Amendments proposed by the
House Committee on Appropriations and adopted by the
House of Representatives on June 15, 2004 be adopted.

House Bill No. 1126 By Representative Murray
June 21, 2004
To the Honorable Speaker and Members of the House of
Representatives and the Honorable President and Members of the
Senate.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
We, the conferees appointed to confer over the disagreement
between the two houses concerning House Bill No. 1126 by
Representative Murray, recommend the following concerning the
engrossed bill:
1. That the set of Senate Floor Amendments proposed by Senators
Jones and Hainkel and adopted by the Senate on June 17, 2004,
be rejected.
2. That Senate Floor Amendments Nos. 1 through 3 of the set of
amendments proposed by Senator Irons and adopted by the
Senate on June 17, 2004, be adopted.
3. That Senate Floor Amendment No. 4 of the set of amendments
proposed by Senator Irons and adopted by the Senate on June
17, 2004, be rejected.
4. That the following amendment to the engrossed bill be adopted:
AMENDMENT NO. 1
On page 1, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following:
"§1483. Definitions
As used in this Chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings herein given to each unless the context clearly indicates
otherwise:
