To amend and reenact R.S. 34:855.3(E) and (F), relative to the<br />

regulation of personal watercraft; to change the age requirement<br />

to sixteen years of age to operate a personal watercraft; to<br />

authorize a person thirteen years of age or older on January 1,<br />

2005, until they reach the age of sixteen, to operate a personal<br />

watercraft if they have completed a boating safety education<br />

course; and to provide for related matters.<br />
