AMENDMENT NO. 1<br />
On page 1, line 2, after "To" and before "to conduct" delete "establish<br />
the <strong>Louisiana</strong> Prosper Commission" and insert the following: "request<br />
the House Committee on Appropriations and the Senate Committee<br />
on Finance to meet and function as a joint committee"<br />
AMENDMENT NO. 2<br />
On page 2, line 19, after "<strong>Louisiana</strong>" delete the remainder of the line<br />
and at the beginning of line 20, delete "the <strong>Louisiana</strong> Prosper<br />
Commission" and insert the following: "does hereby request the<br />
House Committee on Appropriations and the Senate Committee on<br />
Finance to meet and function as a joint committee"<br />
AMENDMENT NO. 3<br />
On page 3, line 1, after "that the" delete the remainder of the line and<br />
delete lines 2 through 14 and insert the following: "joint committee<br />
shall specifically solicit the input, recommendations, and advice of<br />
the commissioner of administration, or his designee; the director of<br />
facility planning and control, or his designee; the director of<br />
contractual review, or her designee; the director of state purchasing,<br />
or her designee; the secretary of the Department of Economic<br />
Development, or his designee; two representatives of the small<br />
business community designated by the governor; one representative<br />
of the <strong>Louisiana</strong> Association of Business and Industry designated by<br />
its executive director; and one representative of the National<br />
Federation of Independent Business designated by its president."<br />
AMENDMENT NO. 4<br />
On page 3, delete lines 15 through 24 and insert the following"<br />
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the designations made<br />
pursuant to this Resolution shall be submitted to the chairmen of the<br />
joint committee."<br />
AMENDMENT NO. 5<br />
On page 3, line 26, after "assist the" change "commission" to "joint<br />
committee"<br />
AMENDMENT NO. 6<br />
On page 3, at the end of line 26, change "chair" to "chairmen"<br />

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION<br />
To urge and request the Senate Committee on Insurance and the<br />
House Committee on Insurance to meet and function as a joint<br />
committee to study the difficulty in obtaining professional<br />
liability coverage for certain healthcare providers.<br />
The resolution was read by title. Returned from the House of<br />
