11.2 Alarm messages via SNMP traps<br />

SNMP – SNMP traps<br />

The TAINY xMOD sends messages in the form of SNMP traps for var<strong>io</strong>us<br />

events.<br />

Enable SNMP traps Select Yes if you want to activate the sending of SNMP traps.<br />

Select No if you want to switch off the sending of SNMP traps.<br />

Target host Enter the IP address of the SNMP trap recipient.<br />

Target port Enter the IP port of the SNMP trap recipient.<br />

Target name Enter the name of the SNMP trap recipient.<br />

Target community Enter the name of the SNMP community here.<br />

Choose the interval which you want the keepalive SNMP traps to be sent at.<br />

Select Yes if you want the TAINY xMOD to send an SNMP trap upon<br />

reaching the warning threshold (80%) for the monthly data volume (see<br />

chapter 5.7).<br />

Select No if you do not want an SNMP trap to be sent for this event.<br />

Select Yes if you want the TAINY xMOD to send an SNMP trap upon<br />

reaching the maximum monthly data volume (see chapter 5.7).<br />

Select No if you do not want to set an SNMP trap for this event.<br />

Select Yes if you want the TAINY xMOD to send an SNMP trap when<br />

successfully re-establishing the connect<strong>io</strong>n to the APN.<br />

Select No if you do not want to set an SNMP trapfor this event.<br />

Select Yes if you want the TAINY xMOD to send an SNMP trap with a<br />

change at the switching input.<br />

Select No if you do not want an SNMP trap to be sent for this event.<br />

Select Yes if you want the TAINY xMOD to send an SNMP trap with the<br />

activat<strong>io</strong>n of a configurat<strong>io</strong>n profile.<br />

Select No if you do not want an SNMP trap to be sent for this event.<br />
