The jack only workscorrectly with devices that have aheadphone output with a volumecontrol.• Do not set the portable music player'svolume level higher than is necessaryto match the volume of the CD or FMradio as this causes distortion andreduces sound quality.• If the music sounds distorted at lowerlistening levels, turn the portable musicplayer volume down.
