Failure to activateyour headlamps under these conditionsmay result in a collision.E166125Use the instrument lighting dimmer controlto adjust the brightness of the instrumentpanel and all applicable lit components inyour vehicle.• Tap the left or right of the control tothe first detent to brighten or dim allinterior lit components incrementally.• Press and hold the left or right of thecontrol to the first detent until thedesired lighting level is reached.• Press and hold the right of the controlto the second detent to switch theinterior lights on.• Press and hold the left of the controlto the second detent to switch theinterior lights off.The system turns the headlamps on witha reduced intensity output (halogenheadlamps) or turns the front turn lampson (HID headlamps) in daylight conditions.To switch the system on:1.
