The dry activities--such as the handl<strong>in</strong>g of unprocessed film, load<strong>in</strong>g and unload<strong>in</strong>gof cassettes and exposure holders, and the load<strong>in</strong>g of process<strong>in</strong>g hangers--are all done at theload<strong>in</strong>g bench. This may be either opposite the process<strong>in</strong>g tanks <strong>in</strong> the same room or <strong>in</strong> aseparate adjacent room. Where a cassette-transfer cab<strong>in</strong>et is used, it should open onto theload<strong>in</strong>g bench, which should provide facilities for storage of process<strong>in</strong>g hangers and other items,and a light tight film b<strong>in</strong>.
