The landfill has capacity for 50 to 100 years and has additional acreage that could be permitted to increaseits capacity further. Planning at the County level with WMWI occurs on a yearly basis based on future projectedneeds. The County will have adequate time to plan for 2035 levels of waste generation, and projected levels, asnoted below, could be accommodated at the current landfill site if a new or extended contract is enacted.<strong>Draft</strong> | June 2013 3-220
