Honours programs have limited enrolment,and individual disciplines may have additional selectionrequirements. Admission to the Honours program normallytakes place after the completion of a minimum of 30 credits.Admission requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 ormore, based on a minimum of 30 credits, 24 of which musthave been completed during the last 12 months. Applicantsmust also present a minimum GPA of 3.3 or better inall courses (minimum six credits)* within the Honoursdiscipline of study.*In some disciplines, the six credits must be at thesenior level.HONOURS ADMISSIONHonours in English—Admission RequirementsStudents are eligible for application to the Honours Englishprogram after they have completed a minimum of 30 credits(including at least six credits in English courses), 24 ofwhich must have been completed within the last 12 months.Applicants must present a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in thesecourses and a minimum GPA of 3.3 in all English courses.Please note that entry into the program is competitiveand dependent on department resources—satisfying theminimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
