Someprograms can also be started in January or May. Consult theMacEwan Programs for International Students publicationat www.MacEwan.ca/publications (click on “Programs forInternational Students”) for information on possible startdates for each program.You should apply at least six months prior to the programstart date to allow adequate time for your application to beprocessed and to apply for an International student StudyPermit to Canada.International Tuition CostsCREDIT COURSESAll international students who are registered in a MacEwanUniversity program are assessed tuition fees on a per creditbasis according to the published fee table. Refer to theInternational Tuition Fee Schedule in the Fees Section ofthe <strong>Calendar</strong>. Estimated program costs for internationalstudents are also available from the university’s website atwww.MacEwan.ca/FFI.NONCREDIT COURSESInternational students taking noncredit courses are chargedtwice the Canadian tuition fee. This is in addition to anycredit tuition charges.International Transfer CreditEvaluationUpon acceptance to a certificate, diploma, applied degree orbachelor degree program at MacEwan University, studentswith post-secondary/higher education completed outside ofCanada must submit a Request for Transfer Credit.For each course previously completed with similar contentto a MacEwan University course, a Request for Transfer Creditform and detailed, descriptive course syllabi and outlinemust be submitted. The course syllabi and/or outline MUSTbe in English and the student is responsible for having thetranslations completed.
