CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE SHEETSheet C068CHANGING THE DOUBLE BALANCING VALVEFolio 1/1OF THE ROTATION FUNCTIONCaution!Ensure that the oil is not toohot.1 - Preliminary operations• Put the machine in the maintenance configuration (see correspondingparagraph).• Switch off electric power (see corresponding paragraph).122 - Removing a double balancing valve• Mark and disconnect the four hydraulic hoses (3) on the double balancingvalve unit (1).NB:Unscrew the hoses slowly to release residual hydraulic pressure.• Fit the hoses with caps.• Remove the unit’s 4 unions (2).• Remove the unit (1) by unscrewing the 2 fixing bolts (4).4Caution!Balancing valves are safetyelements. They are calibratedin the plant and must not bere-adjusted.33 - Installing a double balancing valve• Put a new unit into place and fix with the two bolts, equipped with new toothedwashers.• Put the four unions equipped with new O-rings back onto the unit. Tightento the recommended torque (see corresponding paragraph).• Reconnect the hydraulic hoses, according to the marks made during dismantling.Tighten to the recommended torque (see corresponding paragraph).• Put the machine back into the operational configuration.• Make several movement cycles using the replaced double balancing valveto purge the hydraulic circuit.• Check the level of the hydraulic oil tank.
