Anexplanation of how the profile of tourism expenditure summarised in Table 5.2 was estimatedis provided in Section 2.2.Total tourism expenditure on the Island in 2011/12 ($123 million) corresponds with theestimate in Section 2.2 and includes net taxes (principally GST) and expenditure on importedgoods and services from other regions in SA, interstate and overseas.
