Campus Crusade for Christ“When Bill and Vonette Bright first launched Campus Crusade for Christ as a campus ministry in 1951,<strong>the</strong> underlying concept was <strong>to</strong> “win <strong>the</strong> campus <strong>to</strong>day and change <strong>the</strong> world <strong>to</strong>morrow.” Almost 60 yearslater, <strong>the</strong> mission remains <strong>the</strong> same.Today, <strong>the</strong> campus ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ is a network of vibrant, growing movements on1,029 campuses in <strong>the</strong> United States and beyond. The clubs provides <strong>the</strong> students with a social setting in which<strong>the</strong>y can interact with <strong>the</strong> faculty in an informal manner outside of <strong>the</strong> classroom, as well as receive informationabout <strong>the</strong>ir major field of study and work opportunities in this area. The club conducts regular meetings andprovides presentations concerning <strong>to</strong>pics of current interest in <strong>the</strong>ir field. The club sponsors field trips <strong>to</strong> areaemployers <strong>to</strong> observe how local companies operate.
