Professional Tennis Management <strong>Student</strong> Association - Club PTMThe purpose of Club PTM is <strong>to</strong> encourage and promote all aspects of <strong>the</strong> tennis industry. Club PTM isfor all PTM majors that would like <strong>to</strong> learn more about <strong>the</strong> field, while putting on <strong>to</strong>urnaments and doingvarious community service projects.Tom Daglis, 630-7147Psi ChiPsi Chi is <strong>the</strong> National Honor Society in Psychology. In order <strong>to</strong> be a member of Psi Chi, students mustbe majoring or minoring in Psychology and have at least 45 s.h. <strong>to</strong>wards a degree. They must also havecompleted at least 9 hours in Psychology and be enrolled for 3 hours more before <strong>the</strong>y will be consideredfor membership. Also, <strong>the</strong>y must have a <strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong> GPA of at least a 3.0 in both Psychologycourses and in all courses, and rank in <strong>the</strong> upper 35% of <strong>the</strong>ir class.Dr. John F. Campbell, 630-7069Psychology ClubThe purpose of Psychology Club is <strong>to</strong> support and promote interest in <strong>the</strong> field of psychology.Dr. Robert Ritzema, 630-7612RMT/CMAA ClubThe RMT/CMAA Club is designed <strong>to</strong> be a group for all those who show an interest in Clubs, Resorts,and Leisure Real Estate. Members in our club will learn/discuss current events in <strong>the</strong> industry and build<strong>the</strong>ir database of knowledge about resorts worldwide as well as work on projects and provide variousservices <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> community throughout <strong>the</strong> year.The Resort Management Club and <strong>the</strong> Club Managers Association of America meets once per monthcheck<strong>the</strong> RMT Club bulletin board in Clark Hall for <strong>the</strong> next scheduled meeting.The RMT (Resort Management Club) also acts in partnership with CMAA (Club Managers Associationof America) by providing <strong>the</strong> chance for student members <strong>to</strong> gain national club membership with CMAA.Both clubs meet at <strong>the</strong> same time and jointly conduct business by functioning as <strong>the</strong> same club.Dr. Sharon Kendrick, 630-7309 and Al StrattaResidence Hall AssociationThe Residence Hall Association (RHA) is a collection of resident students who share a common goal <strong>to</strong> improveresidential life. These students comprise <strong>the</strong>ir respective hall councils, which are governed by an executive board.The organization is committed <strong>to</strong> serving all resident students and providing <strong>the</strong>m a means of communicationwith staff and administration. RHA serves as a catalyst for change and provides opportunityfor leadership and fellowship through a variety of activities on and off campus. These activities includemeetings, programs, retreats/conferences, committees and hall council functions.RotaractWe are a Rotary-sponsored club which is part of a global effect <strong>to</strong> bring peace and international understanding<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> world. This effort starts at <strong>the</strong> community level but knows no limits in its outreach. The purpose ofRotaract is <strong>to</strong> provide an opportunity for young men and women <strong>to</strong> enhance <strong>the</strong> knowledge and skills that willassist <strong>the</strong>m in personal development, <strong>to</strong> address <strong>the</strong> physical and social needs of <strong>the</strong>ir communities, and <strong>to</strong>promote better relations between all people service projects and social events-come join us!Doris Jackson Munoz, 630-7022 and Arleen Fields, 630-712RUSHRUSH Campus Ministry is a student-led, Bible-based Christian ministry. Our goal is <strong>to</strong> equip and mobilize eachstudent <strong>to</strong> take leadership on <strong>the</strong>ir campus and in life. We believe every lesson learned from <strong>the</strong> scripturesneeds <strong>to</strong> be walked out in day-<strong>to</strong>-day living <strong>to</strong> become a reality in our lives. RUSH emphasizes passionateprayer coupled with life-giving outreach, as we serve <strong>the</strong> physical and spiritual needs of <strong>the</strong> campus. RUSHoperates within relational small group meetings which provide students an avenue <strong>to</strong> connect with oneano<strong>the</strong>r. These small groups help students <strong>to</strong> discover and use <strong>the</strong>ir unique talents and gifts as <strong>the</strong>y comein<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> purpose for which <strong>the</strong>y were created. RUSH is a local ministry outreach of Manna Church. Avoidingtraditional religious structures, our small group format and energetic worship services are designed <strong>to</strong> helpGod’s people experience <strong>the</strong> best God has for <strong>the</strong>m. Manna Church believes; “God created you for a veryspecial purpose. You were specifically designed <strong>to</strong> fit perfectly in<strong>to</strong> His plan, a plan formulated before timebegan! Our deepest desire is <strong>to</strong> help you find that purpose and enter in<strong>to</strong> that place of usefulness in God’skingdom. There is excitement, peace, and fulfillment in that place. It is <strong>the</strong>re you discover true satisfactionand a sense of belonging.
