The gros of this issue was ordered to be struckthere on April 18. The mint-mark was to be a pelletunder the 2nd letters of the legends. Probably at thisdate, too, the mint-mark of Rouen was altered to a pelletunder the 1st letters of the legends. The Treaty ofTroyes was on the point of being signed, and Henryprobably then decided on these mint- marks to designatethe 1st and 2nd mints of the Duchy of Normandy.I have not met with any grosL6 Mint.of this issue of the St.Third Issue.
