Oneis struck from <strong>the</strong> same obverse <strong>and</strong> reverse dies, <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r from <strong>the</strong>same reverse die only.71Cohen describes a similar specimen in <strong>the</strong> Cabinet de France, <strong>and</strong>gives <strong>the</strong> inscription on <strong>the</strong> obverse as DIVA AVGVSTA FAVSTINA,evidently in error, since <strong>the</strong> accompanying wood-cut gives tbe samelegend as <strong>the</strong> Cor bridge example. His description <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> reverse is notcorrect <strong>the</strong> ; st<strong>and</strong>ing figure on <strong>the</strong> left in <strong>the</strong> upper storey is <strong>the</strong>Emperor. He holds a scroll (volumen) in his 1. h<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> not a child.
