XI. 6.]The flan is unusuallybroad : the likeness of the King is uncommon. Mostlythe portraits show a slight beard and moustache, thoughsome are clean shaven. The treatment of Athene isremarkable : she is almost an inch in length. Thesymbol in the field (right) resembles the lilyon theJewish shekels more than anythingelse. Dr. Macdonald,Hunter Catalogue (PI. Ixx. 8), attributes a tetradrachmof Seleucus VI with a similar five-leaved flower in thefield left to the mint at Seleucia ad Calycadnum.30. Obv.
