E.CRASTER.(i.)(See Plates XII.-XIX.)CORBRIDGE SECOND-CENTURY HOARD.FOR five years excavations have been proceeding, underthe direction of the Corbridge Excavation Committee, onthe site of the Roman town of Corstopitum,near Corbridge,in the county of Northumberland. The seasonof 1911 was made memorable by the discovery, onSeptember 14, of a bronze jugwhich -was found tocontain one hundred and fifty-nine Roman aurei.
