The following aspects are essential in that process:The integration is based on a clearly described system applicable to all employees with disabilities.The focus is always put on the respective person with one's unique skills and talents, as well asone's perceptions regarding the appropriate participation in the professional life.The following modules have proven themselves during the specific engagement at the work place:ParticipationinaworkinggroupattheworkshopA disabled person learns how to integrate into the existing workflows and to cooperate with others. Agroup leader recognizes the disabled person's talents and abilities, and can stimulate and developthem systematically through appropriate qualification programs.Traineeship groupIn every workshop there is a traineeship group in which the workshop employees exchange their workexperience acquired outside the workshop. The workshop employees have to moderate the groupalternately, i.e. to take minutes. This way they practise a reliable and independent work – both ofwhich are prerequisites for getting employed in the open labour market.Working at the client's premisesThe group leader works with his/her group in the client's company. The workshop employees wearcompany clothing of the client. They experience how non-disabled colleagues work together, stand attheassemblylinewiththemandgotothecanteenwiththem.TraineeshipDuringthetraineeship,aworkshopemployeeworksalonefor3weeksinacompanyintheopenlabour market. The traineeship is supervised and supported by a job coach.62A workplace outside the workshopThe disabled employee can work in a company in the open labour market for an unlimited period oftime.Theemployerpaysawagethatcorrespondstotheactuallyperformedjobanditcanbeadjustedif necessary. A job coach supervises and supports the measure.
