This example specifies only an input file. The Teradata TPump script is in /home/tpuser/tests/
test1 and the job output is written to stdout, which ordinarily would be the terminal.

This example specifies neither an input nor an output file. Teradata TPump commands are
typed at a terminal via stdin and job output is written to the terminal via stdout.

Normal Termination
This section covers methods of termination and other topics related to terminating Teradata
TPump.
There are two ways to terminate Teradata TPump:
• Normal termination
• Abort termination
Use the Teradata TPump LOGOFF command in the Teradata TPump job script to terminate
the utility normally on both network- and channel-attached client systems:

Teradata TPump logs off all sessions with Teradata Database and returns a status message
indicating:
• The total processor time that was used
• The job start and stop date/time
• The highest return code that was encountered:
• 0 if the job completed normally
