This tambon is located in the northern portion of<br />
the pro--ince, and i6 the largest Project tambon, both in<br />
term of area dnd population. The land of the tambon is<br />
undulating (Figures 9 and 6 ) and is b.dered on the west by<br />
mountains which are within RTG Forest Reserves. Crop<br />
production is p:imarily subsistence g.iutinous rice in lowland<br />
areas, with l,;w-yxeld kenaf dominating the upland areas.<br />
Cassava product'uf. is iimined due to t.Aber damage caused by<br />
flooding .n most yeaiLs. Some maize is grown in the tambon,<br />
and is aiso being planted by some vl'lagers with limited<br />
ld.nd on the adjacent- mountai.n within the Forest Reserve area.<br />
