WHERE IS IT? They made their name<br />
at <strong>Cape</strong> Plaza center on Bayshore<br />
Road, a short drive north of <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong>.<br />
But early this summer they expanded<br />
to a second location on the <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong><br />
beachfront, near Convention Hall.<br />
WHY SHOULD I GO? So maybe<br />
you’ve tasted a lot of Mexican food...<br />
but how often have you eaten genuine<br />
Mexican food? There’s a world of<br />
difference. Don’t take our word<br />
for it. Your hosts Ruben and Dalila<br />
Nuñez-Martinez have conjured up a<br />
smorgasbord of fantastic Mexican food<br />
that’s attracted a serious fan base in<br />
the three years since they opened.<br />
This is what you call an authentic,<br />
affordable Mexican dining experience,<br />
prepared with only the freshest<br />
ingredients and a whole lot of TLC —<br />
from their family to yours.<br />
Ruben cut his teeth working<br />
at popular <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong> restaurants,<br />
learning to cook from his late father<br />
Oscar and mother Lucia, whose magic<br />
is still woven into many of the dishes at<br />
El Pueblo. “We couldn’t do it without<br />
her,” says Ruben. Those years in the<br />
business and his Mexican heritage<br />
combine for a meal you won’t want to<br />
miss.<br />
INSIDER TIP This year, they’ve added<br />
some seriously good seafood options,<br />
including ceviche and fish of the day.<br />

Burritos<br />

flour tortilla, with quesillo,<br />
refried beans, Spanish rice,<br />

chopped onions and<br />

Chilaquile Bowl<br />
Crispy tortilla chips tossed<br />
in a red mole or salsa<br />
verde, sour cream, queso,<br />
fresco, onions, fried egg.<br />
Rice Bowl<br />
Meat choice, Spanish<br />
rice, frijoles, charros,<br />
queso fresco, grilled corn,<br />
tomatoes, avocado and<br />
quajillo crema.<br />
Coctel De Camarones<br />
Poached shrimp tossed<br />
in a spicy ketchup and<br />
lime sauce with jalapeños,<br />
tomatoes, cilantro, onions,<br />
avocado, with saltines.<br />
Tacos Dorados<br />
