Looking for something different? Here’s a menu that’s bursting with Asian and American flavorings — and highly creative cocktails!
WHERE IS IT? Look for the big EXIT ZERO sign on a
charcoal metal building at Sunset and Broadway.
WHY SHOULD I GO? The menu offers a mix of
eclectic curries and some of the best burgers you’ll
taste on the island, along with a very creative drinks
program. Add to that a series of exciting innovations
throughout the year, and you’ll realize why Exit Zero is
the most talked-about restaurant on the island.
If you’re someone who prefers to avoid the exotic
spices found in their Thai and Indian curries, you will
find a lovely blackened salmon along with an amazing
lobster mac-and-cheese plus the famous lobster,
shrimp and crab pot pie.
But there’s a LOT more going on here than just a
cool place to eat dinner (and with a vaulted ceiling, a
huge handpainted mural and white wooden fireplace
reaching to the rafters, it IS cool). They offer breakfast
and lunch dishes that are different from the usual
fare. You’ll love the huevos rancheros bowl, the
sriracha-buffalo cauliflower bites and the mega tots.
The Filling Station also serves some of the most
creative cocktails on the island (try the Wicked
Watermelon and Mumbai Manhattan) — plus five
Cape May Brew Company drafts on tap.
The Filling Station is a perfect pit stop before
you hit the beach. There are salads, milk shakes and
smoothies. It’s open for brunch and dinner every day,
year-round! On cooler nights, enjoy the cozy warmth
from the giant fireplace.
INSIDER TIP The hottest ticket might be the vintage
camper trailers on site that were converted into
private dining pods. They’re available by reservation
only and include fun extras like record players with
vintage vinyl records for you to enjoy.
