WHERE IS IT? Located on <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong>’s beautiful<br />

beachfront, between Perry and Jackson.<br />

WHY SHOULD I GO? Because we really ARE<br />

talking about the ultimate comfort food here!<br />

Imagine succulet filet mignon served on a toasted<br />

sandwich, with melted cheese (and lobster, if you<br />

want to ratchet up the indulgence factor).<br />

There’s always something reassuring about an<br />

eatery that basically does one thing — because you<br />

know it’s going to be really good. Such is the case at<br />

Nick Filet, which opened on the beachfront in the<br />

summer of 2019. It’s their third location — Nick Filet<br />

originally launched in Paoli, Pennsylvania, and later<br />

added another eatery in nearby Wayne.<br />

The <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong> beachfront is a place where Nick<br />

feels comfortable, having cut his teeth managing<br />

Quincy’s Original Lobster Rolls, located a little<br />

further down the road.<br />

After coming up with his idea for the new<br />

eatery, Nick made 10 sandwiches for three friends,<br />

testing out different spices and recipes. “These three<br />

girls, who were notoriously shy eaters, destroyed<br />

these 10 sandwiches in about 10 minutes. They<br />

couldn’t put them down,” says Nick. “I knew we were<br />

on the verge of something pretty big.”<br />

Sink your teeth into one of Nick’s sandwiches<br />

and you will very likely feel the same way.<br />

INSIDER TIP The <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong> location is open from<br />

April every year, while the Nick Filets in Paoli and<br />

Wayne are open daily year-round.<br />
