Route 109. Dark Star Pirate Cruise and the<br />
Starlight Fleet fishing excursions sail from<br />
6200 Park Blvd in Wildwood Crest.<br />

The breathtaking sights of the world’s<br />
largest mammals surfacing and breaching<br />
never gets old. <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong> Whale Watch &<br />
Research Center was founded 36 years ago,<br />
and they’ve been the pioneers in whale and<br />
dolphin watching along the New Jersey coast.<br />
They’ve come a long way and now<br />
partner with Whale SENSE as well as the<br />
Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society<br />
to promote awareness of protecting whales,<br />
dolphins, porpoises and the environment.<br />
Dolphins are a common sight aboard this<br />
vessel and riders get an up-close viewing<br />
experiencing as they frolic right alongside the<br />
boat. The M/V American Star, their gorgeous<br />
90-foot vessel, is set up for non-obtrusive,<br />
up-close viewing of whales and dolphins.<br />
There is an onboard naturalist who will<br />
teach you all about the critters you see, plus<br />
a touch tank to keep everyone immersed<br />
in this at-sea, environmental educational<br />
experience.<br />

Another part of <strong>Cape</strong> Sea Excursions,<br />
the Dark Star Pirate Cruise is a 50-foot,<br />
authentic pirate-themed ship which sails<br />
daily during the summer season. Buccaneers,<br />
young and old, are entertained with tales<br />
of fortunes and treasures that would<br />
turn Blackbeard green with envy on a<br />
scenic voyage through <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong>’s coastal<br />
waterways.<br />
When you step onboard, you’ll become<br />
a crew member as the fully interactive show<br />
puts you right in the middle of the adventure<br />
with sword fighting, singing, water cannon<br />
