Uncle Bill’s Pancake House<br />

WHERE IS IT? Just a few steps from<br />
the beach, in front of Congress Hall.<br />
WHY SHOULD I GO? Bill isn’t your<br />
uncle (or, at least, chances are pretty<br />
good that he’s not), but guests are<br />
consistently treated like family when<br />
they dine here. And they’re consistently<br />
treated to a delicious meal.<br />
Ever walk by a restaurant and get<br />
instantly hungry? Those smells hit you,<br />
your appetite was sparked, and the<br />
tummy started rumbling. This is what<br />
happens when you pass by Uncle Bill’s.<br />
The lovely aromas drift 35.5 feet<br />
around the restaurant (we’ve made<br />
exhaustive scientific measurements)<br />
and you’ll see people streaming into<br />
the place from all angles for breakfast,<br />
brunch and lunch. Once inside, you’ll<br />
find out that the hearty breakfasts<br />
don’t disappoint. The fact that many<br />
of the booths in this circular building<br />
have views of the Atlantic doesn’t hurt.<br />
For an even better view, try and snag<br />
an outside table — a perfect spot for<br />
breakfast or a filling lunch from their<br />
extensive lunch menu.<br />
INSIDER TIP Breakfast is served all day<br />
from 6:30am — visit before 9am and<br />
after 11am to avoid the crowds. Uncle<br />
Bill’s now accepts credit cards, but<br />
there is also an ATM on-site if you need<br />
to grab some cash for the rest of your<br />
beach day.<br />
