WHERE IS IT? The basement of
Congress Hall, America’s oldest seaside
hotel.
WHY SHOULD I GO? The backdrop
is 200-year-old brick walls and brushed
steel tables and bar — and yet, thanks
to some seriously moody lighting, the
Boiler Room feels warm and cozy. That
mood is enhanced by a wood-fired
brick oven that produces fresh pizza
in flavors such as Smoky Pulled BBQ,
Prosciutto and Arugula, and Margherita.
The pizza is carefully handmade with a
unique 48-hour, no-knead dough and
uses ingredients seasonally sourced
from just down the road at Beach Plum
Farm. They also offer craft beer on tap,
making this one of the town’s favorite
destinations for casual dining.
End your meal with something
sweet from the dessert menu, though
that shouldn’t end your evening.
More than just an enjoyable dining
experience, the Boiler Room sounds
as good as it tastes. Throughout the
season you’ll find more than enough
reasons to dance the night away, with

blues, swing and vintage rock. There’s
