WHERE IS IT? In the heart of the Washington<br />
Street Mall, just along from The Ugly Mug.<br />
WHY SHOULD I GO? For so many shore town<br />
seafood restaurants, a good gimmick is more<br />
important than a good product. But hanging fishing<br />
poles and buoys and plastic crustaceans on the<br />
wall of an eatery does not, for example, make up<br />
for serving a previously frozen fish.<br />
At the <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong> Fish Market, the nautical<br />
decor is kept to a minimum. Here, the focus is on<br />
the food. The only gimmick, if you can call it that, is<br />
a high-quality product.<br />
Whether you choose to dine al fresco on<br />
the Washington Street Mall (world-class peoplewatching!)<br />
or inside in the intimate brick dining<br />
room, you can count on your meal being fresh, and<br />
as local as possible.<br />
But the folks at <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong> Fish Market won’t<br />
think it’s fishy if seafood just isn’t your thing. They<br />
also have a wide variety of sandwiches and entrée<br />
salads. Plus, they have an extensive kids’ menu, too.<br />

Mug or Delaney’s Irish Bar and Grille for a cocktail.<br />
