4.0 INTRODUCTION<br />
All surf lifeguards & patrol support members on patrol are to take a proactive approach to<br />
preventing drowning and injury on the beach.<br />
Being proactive & always maintaining constant supervision of the patrolled area & surrounding areas<br />
is a fundamental requirement for surf lifesaving patrols.<br />
