1.0 PURPOSE<br />

The SAFER Risk Management Process should be used where quick action is needed. It is carried out on<br />

the spot in developing and changing situations or when unexpected hazards present themselves during<br />

routine tasks.<br />

The SAFER Risk Management Process encourages users to consider control measures to make work<br />

safer.<br />

includes the process of evaluating risks in real-time, while working. It is an easy-to-remember approach<br />

to preventing harm to self and/or others.<br />
